Internal Audits

Auditing management systems ensures effective performance and identifies where improvements exist. 

This is a practical two-day course providing the knowledge and confidence needed to complete effective internal audits.

• Preparing reports that help management improve systems and performance

Course Foundation

ISO 19011:2018 - Guidelines for auditing management systems. The principles apply equally to any management systems standard and examples and case studies to illustrate this are used throughout the course.

This course covers the general requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Course prerequisite
A good working knowledge of the standard to be audited is essential for all students of this course. Standards
could include:

• ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems – Requirements
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems – Specifications with guidance for use
• ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems – Specifications with guidance for use
• ISO 17025:2017 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories

Exemplar Global Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will gain an internationally recognised Exemplar Global certificate of competence. The competency units for this course are IA, QM, EM, and HS.
